Youth World Meeting in Puglia in February, 2010

The presentation tour of the Youth World Meeting "Noi, Cittadini Globali e Locali" that Puglia will host in February 2010, will start on September 23 in Bari. The purpose of the meeting is to facilitate the participation of young people in the political choices of the government to favour the development of a sustainable future for everyone.
About 500 delegates of youth organizations coming from all over the world will meet the young people from Puglia to share ideas, experiences and to confront with politicians, economic and social players,as well as delegates from international organizations and knowledge centres.
The purpose of presentation tour is to promote the meeting and will reach the provinces of Puglia to inform about this initiative as well as to favour the participation of youth groups and organizations active in different areas of the region.
The dates of the tour in Puglia are the following:

Bari - Wednesday, 23 September - 10 a.m. - Faculty of Law, "Aldo Moro"Lecture Hall
Taranto - Friday, 25 September - 4.30 p.m. - Salone della Provincia
Lecce - Tuesday, 29 September - 4.30 p.m - Castle of Charles V
Brindisi - Thursday, 1 October - 4.30 p.m - Monastero di Colonna
Foggia - Wednesday, 7 October - 10 a.m. - University of Foggia, Great hall

The meetings are open to all comers, especially to youth organizations, people between 16 and 35 years old and public or private organizations that work on the youth participation and youth policies.
The initiative is promoted by the Puglia Region and by the Ministry of Youth Affairs through the National Youth Agency.
